Subject: Sunset 100 LP 6 Unit Condo 121 Sunset Ave
The Fire Department has the following comments:
1) Please show the sprinkler riser room on the drawings. They are labeled on the
sprinkler plans but not on the building plans. I would also suggest you relocate
the location of the room to the eastern exterior wall for reasons that I have
discussed with your sprinkler contractor Ken Robinson.
2) Portable fire extinguishers are required in the building with a maximum travel
distance of 75 feet (noted from entry door to the condos). At least two will be
required in the S-2 garage. Minimum size is 2A10:BC.
3) A Fire Department Lock Box will be required for emergency access by our
department. An authorization to purchase can be obtained from my office prior
to occupancy.
4) Bulding addresses are required and must be visible from the street. Minimum
number size is 4 inches tall with a 1 inch stroke on a contrasting backround.
