Subject: Sunset 100 LP 121, 123, & 125 Sunset Ave N
The Fire Department has the following comments after reviewing under the 2006 IFC
with Washington State Ammendments and the Edmonds ECDC:
1) Apply for a Fire Connection Permit. This permit must be issued with the building
permit. A handout is available from the Building Dept..
2) Originally a fire hydrant was shown by the entrance off Sunset Ave to the under
ground parking but is missing from the Civil plans. Please include the fire
hydrant as it is required.
3) Deferred permit submittals can be Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler, Fire Protection
Footprint, and a Fire Emergency Guide. You may call or contact me at
smithm@ci.edmonds.wa.us for additional information.
4) Show on the plans the location of the fire sprinkler riser room. I recommend it
be located in the building as close to the vault as possible.
