Dear Mr. Sweeney,
The City of Edmonds Fire Department has informed us of your structure fire that
occurred on May 29. We are sorry for your loss and thankful that no one was hurt. The
purpose of this letter is to inform you that my office is available to assist you in obtaining
the necessary building permits to make the needed repairs. We ask that you arrange for
our City building inspector to perform a site inspection as soon as possible in order to
help establish a reasonable scope of work for the project and to determine whether there
may be any restrictions on current use of the building. This inspection may be scheduled
by calling (425) 771-0220.
Enclosed is a City handout describing the general permit process. Additional handouts
