During review of the civil drawings for the proposed project it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications will need to be addressed. Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised civil drawings and associated documents with
a written response to each item to an Engineering Technician. Please contact me at 425-771-0220 or by e-mail at

Grading
Grading initially estimated at 490 cubic yards.
Detention System
1. Given the proposed rim and invert elevation of the detention system, the detention pipe is too shallow.
Top of pipe must be a minimum of 2' below a driveable area.
2. The control structure is located in the wrong CB. It should be in the downstream catch basin.
3. Include a profile drawing of the detention system with the drainage plan.
4. Drainage outfall shall not daylight at top of slope. Please design an alternate outfall method.
5. The detention system appears to be oversized, given the proposed impervious surface.
Driveway
1. Specify on site plan the extent of driveway paving. Note that the driveway approach shall be paved from
the street edge a minimum of 20 feet, or to the property line, whichever is greater. In either case, the
pavement shall be asphalt to the property line.

Side sewer
Note where the proposed side sewer will be from the house to the main. Include all required cleanouts. If the
existing sewer lateral from the main to property line is to be reused, contact Public Works at 425-771-0235 to
ascertain the condition of the line.
Water Service Line
Note on the site plan where the water service line is to be located from meter to house.
