During review of the proposed plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following
information, clarifications or changes are needed. Provide written responses to each comment and
where changes can be found on the plans. Please resubmit to Theresa Umbaugh, Permit
Coordinator.
1.On the north side of the building where the exterior wall is 5 feet or less to the property line, the
proposed Shakertown shingles must meet NFPA 268 by not exhibiting sustained flaming (IBC
1406.2.1.1). Provide manufactures information to show that the shingles will meet this
requirement.
2.The Building Enclosure design professional must submit a written statement stamped/signed
that The undersigned has provided building enclosure documents that in my professional
judgment are appropriate to satisfy the requirements of RCW 64.55.005 through 64.55.090.
