An inspection showed that the 2 car, 2 door garage had been converted to a 2 car, 1 door garage. A building permit is required for this type of construction. The City shows no record for a building permit for the garage changes at this address. The Edmonds Community Development Code (ECDC) addresses nuisance violations as follows (in part): Nuisance Section: ECDC 20.110.030. No person owning, leasing, renting, occupying or having charge or possession of any property in the city, including vacant lots, shall maintain or allow to be maintained on any such property, except as may be allowed by any other city ordinance any of the following: A. Junk, trash, litter, boxes, discarded lumber, salvage materials in front yard, side yard, rear yard or vacant lot; Corrective actions required: Please contact me at your earliest convenience by October 23, 2008 to confirm receipt of this · information and to review the following corrective actions. An Order to Correct is issued if no contact is made. Please submit a complete application and fees for a building permit by November 5, 2008.
