Call to Order
1) Reading of Land Acknowledgement Statement /Roll Call /Introductions
"We acknowledge the original inhabitants of this place, the Sdohobsh (Snohomish) people and their successors the Tulalip
Tribes, who since time immemorial have hunted, fished, gathered, and taken care of these lands. We respect their
sovereignty, their right to self-determination, and we honor their sacred spiritual connection with the land and water. "

comments will be distributed to the Tree Board. (Please e-mail no later than Wed., 9/30/2020 by noon.)
4) Approval of Meeting Notes
Approval of Meeting notes March 5 and September 3, 2020. (Doug Peterson will take 10/1/2020 notes.)

a. Status of tree root problem 5th and Walnut, city staff
b. Tree tags -complete?, Bill Phipps, Donna Murphy
c. Status of tree, Edmonds Elementary, Suzanne Juergensen, Barb Chase

a. Senior Center Plantings- do we have one page plan?, any other questions
b. Possible visit to Urban Nursery Mt. Vernon or Tree walk at Evergreen Arboretum in Everett
c. Date(s) of planting tree and other natives at Edmonds Elementary
d. Visit from Forterra, Suzanne
e. Consideration of a place to plant trees for a trial (possibly near Shell Creek)
f. Tree board presentation to the ACE group.
