HOA LETTERTo: Denise Nelson, Permit Coordinator, City of Edmonds RE: Request for Permit from Bepin and Katie GjonajThank you for discussing with me the situation regarding Condominium Associations being asked to provide letters of this nature when homeowners file for permits when remodeling units. As it has not been asked of any Board of Directors at Mill Park in many years, if ever, it seemed more than a little strange that a brand new owner would be attempting to claim that a letter from us was all that was really needed from the City.We understand that Bepin and Katie Gjonaj have filed for permits to remodel the unit located at: 7219 224th St SW #K9, Edmonds, WA 98026 - It is understood that the City's minimum requirements of bringing in a structural engineer to report on the status of the unit has been satisfied, -The Board of Directors of the Mill Park Condominium Association have been provided no information as to any licensed and bonded contractors required for the renovation of the unit in question, -The Board of Directors has not been asked for approval for ANY alterations of the original floor plan, and as such has not approved any structural alterations, and -The Board of Directors has hereby approved the restoration of said unit to its original state.Daniel HillPresident, Mill Park Board of Directors
