In reviewing the City's flood plain development records, it was found that the new home built under City of Edmonds permit BLD2016-0120 was considered to be located outside of the Special Flood Hazard Area; however, during the CAV there was discovered a lack of sufficient documentation to determine that your structure is indeed outside of the Special Flood Hazard Area. We request your assistance in updating our records for your property. In order to address this issue, we request that you contact FEMA to obtain a Letter of Map Amendment (LOMA) which we anticipate will officially establish the location of your house in relation to the flood hazard area. The FEMA website offers an online application process and related information for requesting a LOMA. Please contact me if you have any questions or if you need the official Base Flood Elevation for Lake Ballinger. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
