Call to Order
Jerry called the meeting to order at 4:01PM

Honorary Board Member:
Approval of Minutes - February 18, 2021 (no additions or corrections)
Chair Report:
Jerry reported that the cemetery has already made 5 niche sales this month.
Finance Report:
Kim gave an excellent presentation on an overview of the proposed and actual budgets for Fund 130 and
Fund 137 for 2020 and 2021.
Staff Report:
• Rich reported that maintenance at the cemetery has been going well and has been very busy with
burials, cremations, etc.
• Angie reported that Cathy Robinson needed to have a monument moved slightly at the cemetery. Angie
and Rich worked with her and all worked out well and everyone felt it was a good experience. Angie
also reported that Cliff has someone who would like to place a stone angel on a bench on a gravesite per
a drawing he had prepared. The board decided that more information is needed before making a
decision on this. This will be provided at April's board meeting.

Old Business:
Memorial Day 2021 Planning - because of the uncertainty of the effects of COVID19 on large gatherings,
our regular Memorial Day service will not happen. The board discussed having a virtual presentation
and also a drive -through of the cemetery as good possibilities. 2 committees were formed: one to head
up a virtual presentation and one to head up a drive through option. More specific information is
needed to make a final decision. Jerry will work with Angie and Kim on checking out getting a permit
for the drive -through and seeing what all is required. The board decided to have a special zoom meeting
at 3:OOPM on Monday, April 5th, to go over the specifics for each option and to make a final decision.
Advertising - Joan gave a brief synopsis of her findings from her research of various sources for
advertising. It was decided to discuss this further at the April 5th meeting, especially as it pertains to
Memorial Day.
New Business:
It was decided to postpone any discussion on Walk -Back -In -Time and Betty's ideas until the April 151h
board meeting.
