JLu Ordinance approving and confirming the assessment and the assess -
roll for the improvement of Third Street in the city of Edmonds,' Sno-
homish County; Washington, by the construction of a side -walk along the :east
side of Third Street from Kelley's Corner, being approximately three hundred
thirty-four (334) feet South of the South. -east corner of Third Street and.
Dayton Street in said city; thence Southerly along East side of said Third
Street a distance of approximately six hundred sixty (660) feet to the
intersection of the North line of the J. G. Schmidt place on said Third
Street,' which improvement was made under and pursuant to a resolution of the
City Council of the city of Edmonds; passed inlegal session on the 19th day of
September, 1922 ' and levying and assessing the aMount'.thereof against the lot;
tract or parcel of land shovm on said roll.
Sec. 1.
BE IT OBDAIIM BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE, CITY OF EIUONDS9, AS FOL_O e:

That,\assessment and assessment roll for the improvement of Third
Street ..in the city of Edmonds,' Snohomish County,` Washington,' by the con-
atruction,of a side -walk along the East side of Third Street from Nelly's
corner; being approximately three hundred thirty..four (334) feet South
of the South east corner of Third Street and Dayton Street in said city;
thence Southerly along East side of said Third Street a distance of
approximately six hundred silty (660) feet to the intersection of the
North line of the J. G. Schmidt place on said Third Street; be and the
same is hereby approved and confirmed,
Sec. 11,
That said lot,' tract or parcel of land shown upon said roll and
a -
which lot,' tract or parcel of land is iimediately butting upon said side-
walk,' is hereby declared to be especially benefited by said improvement
in at least the amount charged against the same, aOihereb- levied and'
assessed against such lot; tract or parcel of land appearing upon such
roll the amount finally charged against the same thereon.

Sec. Ill.
Said assessment roll shall be forthwith placed in the hands of the
city Treasurer of the city of- Edmonds by the city Clerk thereof. Said
city Treasurer shall thereupon notify the owner of the property menu.
tioned in said assessment roll that such assessment is immediately
dos and pa9able.in the event that such assessment is not paid into the

city treasury of the city of Edmonds within days after the
receipt of such notice from the city Treasurer the dity Attorney of
the city of Edmonds shall proceed forthwith to collect such assessment
in the mariner provided by law for the collection of local improvement
•ljpbd assessments.
