AN ORDINANCE authorizing the payment of the sum of $49.28
for plumbing work and materials to C. 3. Denslow and declaring
an. emergency.
BE IT, ORDAINIM BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON:
Section 1. That the expenditure of the sum of '$A,9.28 be,
and the same is hereby authorized to be paid to E. S. Denslow
for plumbing work and materials furnished to the Park Board of
the City of Edmonds. The said expenditure hereby authorized shall
be paid by the issuance of one emergency warrant in said amount
which shall be paid from monies on hand in the city treasury
chargable with the said expenditure,and the city treasurer is
hereby authorized and directed to pay such warrant out of any
such monies. If there be insufficient money on hand to pay any
such emergency warrant, such warrant may be registered, bear
interest and be called in the same manner as other city warrant. -
Section 2. That an emergency is hereby declared to exist by
reason of the fact that proper sanitary installations at the
city park required such work and materials and the said public
emergency was one which could not have been reasonably forseen
at the time of the making of the budget.
The foregoing ordinance introduced the 6th diry of May, 19302
and passed and approved on the -1 d'- day of May, 1930.
