AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,z WASHINGTON
REVISING THE COMPREHENSIVE THOROUGHFARE PLAN OF
SAID CITY BY ADOPTING A NEW SECTION IN THE
EDMONDS CITY CODEr SECTION 12.03.075, PURSUANT
TO AND MODIFYING THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION CONTAINED IN RESOLUTION
NO. 301 BY DESIGNATING CERTAIN STREETS AS
"COLLECTORS".
WHEREAS, pursuant to Planning Commission Resolution
No. 301 the City Council of the City of Edmonds called a
public hearing regarding the designation of the following
described streets on the Comprehensive Thoroughfare Plan
of said City, adopted by Section 12.03.070 of the Edmonds
City Code, and
WHEREAS, after due consideration of existing and future
neighborhood and traffic conditions,and the general safety,
welfare and health of the public, and finding that the
proposed population densities in the surrounding areas will
demand collector streets rather than arterials, now, there-
fore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS4 WASHINGTON
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
There is hereby adopted a new section in the Edmonds
City Code to read as follows:
"Section 12.03.075 Amendments to Revised g re-
hensive Thoroughfare Plan. The Revised Comprehensive
Thoroughfare Plan, adopted by Section 12.03.070 is
hereby amended by the following revision:
(1) Revision No. 1. 88th Avenue West from Main
Street to Olympic View Drive,, Olympic View Drive from
196th Street Southwest to 76th Avenue West, and
Olympic Avenue from Main Street to Olympic View Drive
be and the same are hereby redesignated as 'Collector
Streets' as depicted in Revision No. 1 to Engineer's

incorporated herein as if set forth in full."
