THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ED£5,.01 DS, WASHINGTON
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOT1S :
The traffic code of the City of Edmonds is hereby
amended by creating a new section to read as follows:
Section 8.48.180 Ov_erni5.1 parking prohibited in
residential` areas. It shall he unlawful and a
violation of the traffic code to park or other-
wise leave overnight, or bettaeen the hours of
12 :01 o'clock A.I and 6 : 00 o'clock A.,','., on any
street or hirhway in the City of Edmonds within or
abutting an area classified as residential (RS, RD,
P21L, or R"11I?) or open space (OS) by the official
zoning ordinance of the following types of trailers
and/or vehicles:
A. All types of trailers designed to be drawn
by a motor vehicle, including but not limited
to boat trailers, trailer homes and mobile
homes; and
B. Trucks used for business purposes in whole or
in part, excluding pick-up or .panel trucks
of less than one (1) ton rates' capacity.
It shall not be necessary that restricted parking
or other traffic signs be erected for the purpose
of enforcing this section."
