Ordinance 1461dt ORDINANCE NO. 61 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1454 BEING THE 1970 BUDGET TO AUTHORIZE EXPENDITURES FROM THE STREET DEPART- MENT FOR TRAFFIC SAFETY CONTROL STUDIES FROM FUNDS RECEIVED IN EXCESS OF ESTIMATED REVENUES. WHEREAS in 1969 the City of Edmonds received approval of an award from the United States Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration, National Highway State Bureau in the sum of $14,280.00 which award is administered by the Washington State Traffic Safety Commission, and WHEREAS, said sum was received in part in 1969 and in part will be received in 1970, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Ordinance No. 1454, adopting the 1970 budget, be and the same is hereby amended by the inclusion therein the sum of $10,069.00 in the classification of Maintenance and Operation of the Street Depart- ment Fund a new item hereinafter referred to as Traffic Safety Control Study (20.248) and expenditures from said item are hereby authorized pursuant to the applicable federal and state standards and conditions relative to the award of said $14,280.00 originally made and received in part in 1969.
