the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds adopted
?resolution 17o. 317 recornmendina the adoption of the
"Proposed Conprehensive Plan_" which plan is to become
effective upon the annexation of the area described
therein, or any part thereof, and
MEPEAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds
held public hearings at least thirty days apart upon
said. Proposed Comprehensive Plan, giving notice of the
time and place thereof by publication in a newspaper
of general circulation in the said city and the area
to be annexed, and
''THEPFAC, the City Council having made findings
and determinations as set forth in resolution No. .%?l" ,
and by this reference the same are hereby incorporated
herein as if set forth in full, now, therefore,

Section. 1. The rdmonds City Code, is hereby supple -
rented by the addition thereto of a new section reading
as follows:
Section 12.04.191 Comprehensive Plan for Unincor-
porated Area south. Pursuant to Resolution and recom-
rendation of the Planning Commission of the City of.
Edmonds there is heresy adopted that official map ref-
erenced. as "Proposed Corrrehensive Plan" setting forth
the proposed land usage in that unincorporated area.
of Snohomish County lying south of the City of Edmonds
and west of U.S. '99 , a cony of whichshall he m.ain-
ta.ined by the City Cler?r, the Planning Department of
the City of Fdrionds , and recorded wi.t'? the County,
Auditor, and ?-�y this reference said znap is incorporated
herein as if set forth in full, which Proposed ConR-
prehensive Plan shall become effective upon annexation
of said area, or any part thereof, by said city of
Edmcnds.
Section 2. The City Clerk and the Planning De-
partment of the City of Edanonds shall maintain copies
of the Proposed Comprehensive Plan and the City Clerk
shall fonaa.rd a certified copy of this ordinance and
the Proposed Comprehensive Plan to the County Auditor
for the County of Snohomish vho shall record the or-
dinance and keen on file a copy of said plan.
Section 3. The "Proposed, Comprehensive Plan"
adopted herein shall supercede any previously adopted
map or plan in conflict therev7ith.
