AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
AMENDING SECTION 1.04.010 OF THE EDMONDS CITY CODE
TO ESTABLISH ADDITIONAL REGULAR MEETING NIGHTS OF
THE EDMONDS CITY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, due to the increasing work load of the
City Council of the City of Edmonds it is difficult to.
complete the full agenda for regular council meetings
when meeting on only two regular meeting nights per month,
and
WHEREAS, demands on facilities and city staff time
make it nearly impossible to adjourn from night to night,
now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
The Edmonds City Code, Section 1.04.010, is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"Section 1.04.010 Council meetings. Regular meetings
of the city council of the City of Edmonds shall be held on
the first and third Tuesdays of every month throughout the
year at eight p.m., in the council chambers of the Edmonds
Civic Center, provided, that in the event the council agenda
cannot be completed on the first or third Tuesday as herein -
above provided, the immediately following Tuesday is hereby
designated as the regular meeting. day for the purpose of con-
cluding the agenda proposed for said first or third Tuesday
of the month and shall be held at the same hour and place."
