CREATING A NEW SECTION TO. THE EDMONDS TRAFFIC
CODE, SECTION 8:32.110, PROHIBITING THE .
DRIVING. OR PARKING..OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON PRI-
VATE PROPERTY.WI.THOUT.THE CONSENT OF THE OWNER
.OF SAID PROPERTY. AND PROVIDING PENALTIES.

WHEREAS, motor. vehicles have been found to
injuriously damage private :property or create a nuisance
by being left on private: property of another, now,.
therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY. OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby, created a new section
of the Edmonds Ci.ty.Code,.Section 8.32.110.reading as
follows:
Section 8.32.110' :Driving or parking on private
property prohibited. No person shall drive,. park :or
leave any motor vehicle. upon the private proper.ty.of another.
without his consent and the owner and/or operator of any
motor vehicle, including two -wheeled motor.vehicles,
shall be found guilty of a misdemeanor in the event of
violation of this section. This provision shall not:
apply to owners and/or operators of any motor vehicle who
may utilize the driveway portion of another person's.
property for convenience .purposes such as turning said
motor vehicle around. Where business premises provide
off-street parking for its patrons or customers the
owner or operator of said premises shall be deemed_ to
have consented to the..temporary parking of motor vehicles
upon his premises in areas designated for said parking.

Section. 2.. Any person or persons who shall
violate or fail to comply with any of the provisions
of Section 8.32.110:'.of the Edmonds City. Code, or any
part thereof, shall upon conviction of said violation
be punished by a fine, or by imprisonment in jail,
or by both such fine and imprisonment as set forth in
Section 5.12.170'.of the Edmonds City. Code which section
by this reference is incorporated herein as if set forth
in full.
