AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
ESTABLISHING THE OFFICIAL .STREET GRADE FOR NINTH
AVENUE NORTH BETWEEN CASPER STREET. AND MAIN STREET.
AND. ON NINTH AVENUE -SOUTH A/K/A 100.th AVENUE.WEST
BETWEEN MAIN STREET AND 23.0th..S.W.. A/K/A EDMONDS
WAY, ALL IN.THE CITY. OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON.
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described portions of Ninth
Avenue North and Ninth Avenue South,,a/k/a 10.0th. Avenue
West,.are to be improved by widening, installation of
storm drainage,..curbs,,sidewalks and related improvements
necessary for the health, welfare and safety of the motoring
public and abutting property owners and to make a complete
improvement in conformance with existing City and Urban
Arterial Board standards applicable th.er.eto,.and
WHEREAS, .an official scree t grade has never been
established for the portions of Ninth Avenue North or
Ninth Avenue South, a/k/a 100th.Avenue West,.hereinafter
described in the City of Edmonds, Washington, now, therefore,
THE .CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
DO ORDAIN AS .FOLLOWS:
The grade .is hereby officially established for those
roadways commonly known as Ninth Avenue North and Ninth
Avenue South between the intersection of. the center lines.
of Casper Street and Ninth Avenue North and the intersection
of the center lines. of Main Street and Ninth Avenue North
and between the intersection of the center lines of Main
Street and Ninth Avenue.South,,a/k/a 100th Avenue West and
23.0th S.W., a/k/a Edmonds Way, ;all situate .in the City of
Edmonds, Washington, .as depicted in that .certain printed
compilation, three copies of which had been on file with
the City Clerk prior to. the adoption of this ordinance,
prepared by. Reid, Middleton &Associates, Inc., consulting
engineers for the City of Edmonds, Washington,,pursuant to.
to. Urban Arterial Project No. 8-1-139-.(0:2) , .consisting
of four sheets and bearing File No. OSG 1.667,,and by.
this reference said printed.compilation is hereby incor-
porated herein as if set forth in full as the official
grade hereby established for said roadways.
