AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE PLUMBING CODE OF SAID CITY BY ADOPT-
ING THE 1970 EDITION OF THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE
BY AMENDING SECTION 11.12.010 OF THE EDMONDS CITY
CODE, AMENDING SECTION 11.12.020 OF SAID CODE,
REPEALING SECTIONS 11.12.030 THROUGH 11.12.070
AND DELETING REFERENCE TO "FUEL GAS PIPING"IN
SECTION 117 (e) OF SAID UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE BY
CREATING A NEW SECTION 11.12.03.0 OF THE EDMONDS
CITY CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The 1970 Edition of the Uniform Plumbing
Code is hereby adopted by reference as the Plumbing Code
of the City of Edmonds by amending Section 11.12.010 of
the Edmonds City Code to read as follows:
"11.12.010 Adoption by Reference of Uniform
Plumbing Code. That certain printed code, three
copies of which are and have been on file in the office
of the City Clerk of the City of Edmonds for use and
examination of the public, being marked, printed and
designated as the Uniform Plumbing Code, 1970 Edition
(including Appendices A,B,C,D,E and F, but excluding
Appendix G, and excluding Part Two and excluding
Chapter 12), copyrighted in 1970 by the International
Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials,
is hereby adopted by reference and incorporated
herewith as if fully set forth within this Chapter,
as the Plumbing Code of the City of Edmonds,
subject to the modifications, and amendments herein-
after set forth, and each and all of the regulations,
provisions, penalties, conditions and.terms of such
Uniform Plumbing Code herein mentioned and as
amended and on file in the office of the City Clerk
is hereby established, pursuant to the laws of the
State of Washington as set forth under RCW 35.21.180
as the Plumbing Code in and for the City of Edmonds.
A. The following Sections of the Uniform Plumbing
Code are hereby excluded from adoption by the City
of Edmonds: Sections 1103 through 1118.
B. The following Tables of the Uniform Plumbing
Code hereby are not adopted as part of the Edmonds
Plumbing Code: Tables 11-1, 11-2, 11-3 and 11-4."
Section 2.
Edmonds City Code, .Section 11.12.020 is
hereby amended by repealing the following subsections from
said Section 11.12.020: Subsections (e) (f) (g) and (h) .
