AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL STREET MAP ADOPTED BY
SECTION 12.03.080 OF THE EDMONDS CITY CODE, AS
AMENDED, BY PROPOSING A PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY
EXTENDING NORTHWARD FROM 234TH STREET SOUTH-
WEST FOR A DISTANCE OF APPROXIMATELY 600 FEET
WITH AN EAST -WEST EXTENSION 50 FEET IN WIDTH
FOR A DISTANCE OF APPROXIMATELY 250 FEET AND
THENCE SOUTHERLY APPROXIMATELY 130 FEET IN
MODIFICATION OF PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION
NO. 345.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Planning Commission Resolution
No. 345, the City Council of the City of Edmonds called a
public hearing regarding a proposed public right-of-way, and,
WHEREAS, after due consideration of existing and
future neighborhood and traffic conditions, and the general
safety, welfare and health of the public, and in modification
of the Planning Commission recommendation, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Official Street Map adopted by
Section 12.03.080 of the Edmonds City Code, as amended, is
hereby further amended by projecting a public right-of-way
extending northward from.234th Street Southwest for a
distance of approximately 600 feet, with a 50 feet wide
east -west extension on the east side of said projected
right-of-way for a distance of approximately 250 feet and
thence in a southerly direction approximately 130 feet in
distance and 50 feet in width, as set forth in Design "C"
on file in Planning Commission File No. ST-2-70, and by this
reference the same is incorporated herein as if set forth
in full.
Section 2. The City Engineer is hereby directed

to amend Engineer's Drawing No. 1.559 as set forth in said
Design "C" by inserting on said Engineer's Drawing Revision
No. 1, Sheet No. 17, Section 31.
