AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING SECTION 8.64.065 OF THE EDMONDS CITY.
CODE TO RESTRICT PARKING ON BOTH SIDES OF BELL
STREET FROM SUNSET AVENUE TO 5TH AVENUE NORTH AND
THE EAST SIDE OF SUNSET AVENUE FROM MAIN STREET TO
EDMONDS STREET AND THE WEST SIDE OF SUNSET AVENUE
FROM BELL STREET TO EDMONDS STREET TO FOUR (4) HOURS
MAXIMUM FROM 8:00 A.M. TO 10:00 P.M.
WHEREAS, the Traffic Engineer and the City Council of
the City of Edmonds have determined that it is in the best interest
of the public health, safety and general welfare to restrict park-
ing on both sides of Bell Street from Sunset Avenue to 5th Avenue
North, and on the east side of Sunset Avenue from Main Street to
Edmonds Street, and the west side of Sunset Avenue from Bell
Street to Edmonds Street to four (4) hours maximum from 8:00 a.m.
to 10:00 p.m., now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Section 8.64.065 Schedule VI -A - Parking time
limited for certain periods of time on certain streets is hereby
amended as follows:
NAME OF STREET

from Sunset Avenue to 5th

The east side of Sunset
Avenue from Main Street
to Edmonds Street and the
west side of Sunset Avenue
from Bell Street to Edmonds

HOURS STOPPING, STANDING

Four (4) hours parking
8:00 a.m, to 10:00 p.m.
Four (4) hours parking
8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Section 2: The Traffic Engineer is hereby authorized
and instructed to erect signs notifying the public of the parking
restrictions imposed by this Ordinance.
Section 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
five (5) days after passage and publication by posting as provided
by law.
