AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
VACATING A PORTION OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY IN EXCESS
OF 60 FEET ALONG 76TH AVENUE WEST BETWEEN 224TH
STREET SOUTHWEST AND THE INTERSECTION OF 76TH
AVENUE WEST AND PACIFIC HIGHWAY 99.
WHEREAS, a petition to vacate excess right-of-way was
filed with the City Council of the City of Edmonds, and signed by
the owners of more than two-thirds (2/3) of the property abutting
upon property dedicated for street purposes, located in the City
of Edmonds being a portion of the right-of-way in excess of 60
feet along 76th Avenue West between 224th Street Southwest and
the intersection of 76th Avenue West and Pacific Highway 99, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds did by
Resolution No. 443 set the 17th day of July, 1979, as the date
for the hearing and determination on said proposed vacation, and
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council that said
portion of 76th Avenue West should be vacated and the City
Council does hereby determine to vacate the same, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following described right-of-way in the
City of Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washington, being a portion of
the right-of-way in excess of 60 feet along 76th Avenue West be-
tween 224th Street Southwest and the intersection of 76th Avenue
West and Pacific Highway 99 be and the same is hereby vacated.

Said excess right-of-way is located in the City of Edmonds, Wash-
ington, and legally described as follows:
The east 10 feet of the west 40 feet of the north
4/5 of the northwest quarter of the southwest quarter
of the southwest quarter Section 29 Township 27N Range
4E W.M. lying west of State Road
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a
certified copy of this Ordinance with the Snohomish County Auditor.
Section 3. This Ordinance will be in full force and
effect five (5) days after passage and publication by posting as
provided by law.
