AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
SUPPLEMENTING SECTION 8.16.030 AND 8.64.030 OF
THE EDMONDS CITY CODE BY PROVIDING A MAXIMUM
SPEED LIMIT OF 40 MILES PER HOUR AND PROHIBITING
PARKING ON PORTIONS OF STATE HIGHWAY ROUTE NO.
104, a/k/a 244th STREET S.W.
WHEREAS, the City Traffic Engineer having received
request from the State Highway Commission for the following
restrictions on State Highway Route No. 104, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Edmonds City Code, Section 8.16.030,
is hereby supplemented by the addition thereto of State
Highway Route No. 104 a/k/a 244th Street S.W. from U.S. High-
way 99 to the east city limits stating the maximum speed as
40 miles per hour posted at all times.
Section 2. The Edmonds City Code, Section 8.64.030,
is hereby supplemented by the addition to Schedule IIIto
prohibit parking at all times thereon when signs are properly
erected on the following: State Highway Route No. 104 a/k/a
244th Street S.W. from U.S. Highway 99 to the east city
limits.
Section 3. The Traffic Engineer is hereby directed
to immediately post signs in conformance with the foregoing
Sections 1 and 2.
