ORDINANCE NO. 2528
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING SECTION 18.80.010 RELATING TO STREET
STANDARDS TO REFERENCE THE SIDEWALK STANDARDS
CONTAINED IN SECTION 18.90.030 AND FIXING A
TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted a Comprehensive
Sidewalk Plan with standards contained in Section 18.90.030, and
WHEREAS, current Section 18.80.010 STREET STANDARDS
contains an erroneous reference in conflict with the adopted
Sidewalk Standards, now, therefore,
FOLLOWS:
THE CITY COUNCIL OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS
Section 1. That Section 18.80.010 STREET STANDARDS of
the Edmonds Community Development Code is hereby amended to read
as follows:
18.80.010 STREET STANDARDS
The standards for all street construction shall be as shown
in the Table of Street Standards below. The Public Works
Director shall prepare drawings illustrating the street
standards. Sidewalk standards and requirements are
contained in Section 18.90.030 Edmonds Community Development
Code.

Section 2. This ordinance, being an exercise of a
power specifically delegated to the City legislative body, is not
subject to referendum, and shall take effect five (5) days after

passage and publication as provided by law. The City Clerk is
authorized and instructed to publish this ordinance or a summary
thereof consisting of its title.
