AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, CREATING
A NEW SECTION IN THE EDMONDS TRAFFIC ORDINANCE,
SECTION 8.64.067 PROHIBITING PARKING ON CERTAIN
STREETS BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8:00 A.M. AND 4:00
P.M. MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, AND PROVIDING
PENALTIES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby added to the Edmonds
Traffic Ordinance a new Section reading as follows:
Section 8.64.067 Schedule VI-B - Parking time limited
for certain periods of time on certain streets. In
accordance with Section 8.48.155, and when signs are
erected giving notice thereof, no person shall park
a vehicle for a period of time longer than two hours
between the hours of eight a.m. and four p.m. Monday
through Friday.
212th Street S.W. on the north and south sides, west
of the intersection of 76th Avenue West, a distance
of 980 feet.
76th Avenue West on the east and west sides, south of
the intersection of 212th Street S.W., a distance of
500 feet.
Section 2.
Any person or persons who shall violate
or fail to comply with the provisions of Section 1 herein
shall upon conviction of said violation be punished by a fine
and/or imprisonment as set forth in Section 5.12.170 of the
Edmonds City Code.
