Ordinance 1593ORDINANCE NO. /S-fj ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON AMENDING SECTION 4. 08. 070 OF THE EDMONDS CITY CODE MODIFYING THE REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSED AMBULANCE DRIVERS AND ATTENDANTS. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 4. 08. 070, adopted as modified by Ordinance 1524, Section 2, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 4. 08. 070 Application and registration for drivers and attendants. Each ambulance operator must submit to the Police Department with his application, a list containing the names and addresses of all proposed attendants and drivers, which shall be kept current at all times. All attendants and drivers must be fingerprinted by the Edmonds Police Department; must be at least 21 years of age for drivers (18 years of age for attendants); must possess a valid driver's license; and must not have been convicted of driving while under the influence of intoxicants or drugs or reckless driving within the last five years, or have been convicted of any felony. It shall be unlawful for any operator to knowingly employ a driver who has been convicted of said offenses.
