AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL STREET MAP ADOPTED BY
SECTION 12.03.080 OF THE EDMONDS CITY CODE, AS
AMENDED, BY DELETING A PORTION OF SATER LANE,
A FUTURE STREET, AND REVERSING PLANNING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION NO. 380.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Planning Commission Resolution
No. 380, the City Council of the City of Edmonds called a
public hearing regarding a proposed amendment to the official
street map removing a proposed street named Sater Lane from
said official street map of the City of Edmonds, and
WHEREAS, after due consideration of existing and future
neighborhood and traffic conditions, and the general safety,
welfare and health of the public, and in overruling and
reversing of the Planning Commission recommendation, now,
therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Official Street Map adopted by
Section 12.03.080 of the Edmonds City Code, as amended, is
hereby further amended by deletion of a portion of a projected
public right of way, commonly known as Sater Lane, as depicted
in Exhibit A attached hereto and hereby incorporated in full
by this reference, which is identified as an amendment to the
Official Street Map pursuant to Ordinance No. 1419, and which
projected right of way is more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Government
Lot 2, Section 24, Township 27 North, Range 3
East; thence West 30.00 feet; thence South 30.00
feet to the corner of paved highway and the West
line of 7th Street produced; thence South 385.67
feet; thence West 286.56 feet to the true point
of beginning of this description; thence North
193.00 feet; thence Northwesterly around a curve
with a radius of 20.00 feet a distance of 31.42
feet; thence West 261.00 feet to the East boundary
of 3rd Avenue; thence Northeasterly a distance of
39.91 feet along the Easterly boundary of 3rd
Avenue; thence Southeasterly around a curve with a
radius of 10.00 feet a distance of 10.65 feet;
thence West 289.69 feet; thence South 253.00 feet;
thence East 93.00 feet; thence South 81147'00" West
35.00 feet; thence North 15.00 feet; thence East
98.44 feet to the true point of beginning.
Section 2. The City Engineer is hereby directed to
amend Reid Middleton and Associates' drawing No. 1.559,
Sheet 8, Section 24 of the Official Street .Map of the
City of Edmonds to depict the deletion of the projected
public right of way from said street map as described in
Section 1 hereinabove, and more particularly set forth in
Exhibit A attached hereto.
