AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1606 OF SAID CITY AND
CHAPTER 1.04 OF THE EDMONDS CITY CODE, SETTING
FORTH THE REGULAR MEETING TIMES AND DATES OF THE
CITY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to
continue to conduct all meetings before the public, but to
be able to take official action on a regular basis on any
Tuesday sitting in open meeting, and
WHEREAS, there has been a substantial increase in
the business of said City Council and in order to more expe-
ditiously take official action, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section. The Edmonds City Code, Section 1.04.010 and
Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1479, be and the same are hereby
amended to read as follows:
Section 1.04.010. Regular public meeting times
and days. Regular meetings of the City Council
shall be held on each Tuesday of every month
throughout the year in the Edmonds Civic Center
at 7:30 p.m., Provided, however, in the event state
law requires adoption of an ordinance or other
action on other than a Tuesday, such as budget
hearings, said dates are hereby declared additional
regular meeting dates upon which date the action,
ordinance, resolution or hearing may be adopted
and/or taken.
