AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING SECTION 1. 01. 031C OF THE EDMONDS CITY
CODE TO INCREASE THE PER DIEM ALLOWANCE OF
THE COUNCIL PRESIDENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the duties and expenses of
the Council President are greater than originally anticipated, and,
accordingly the per diem allowance should be increased to more close-
ly reflect the same, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Edmonds City Code Section 1. 01. 031C be and the
same is hereby amended to read as follows:
C. In addition to the regular City Council salary, the
Council President shall be entitled to receive a per
diem allowance at the rate of $10. 00 per day that
the Council President performs duties of the office,
not to exceed a maximum of $200. 00 per month.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
five (5) days after passage and publication by posting as provided by law.
