AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASH-
INGTON, ADDING A NEW SECTION 8.64.030(20)
TO THE EDMONDS CITY CODE TO PROHIBIT PARK-
ING ON THE WEST SIDE OF ADMIRAL WAY FROM
THE PORT OF EDMONDS BOAT LAUNCH ROAD TO
A POINT 550 FEET NORTH; AMENDING SECTION
8.64.045(1) OF THE EDMONDS CITY CODE TO
RESTRICT PARKING ON THE WEST SIDE OF AD-
MIRAL WAY FROM DAYTON STREET TO 1050 FEET
SOUTH; AND DELETING SECTION 8.64.065(4).
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Traffic Engineer
have determined that it is in the best interest of the pub-
lic health, safety and general welfare to prohibit parking
on the West Side of Admiral Way from the Port of Edmonds
Boat Launch Road to 550 feet north, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A new Section 8.64.030(20) is hereby
added to the Edmonds City Code to read as follows:
11(20) West side of Admiral Way from Port of Ed-
monds Boat Launch Road to a point 550 feet north."
Section 2. Section 8.64.045(1) of the Edmonds
City Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(1) West side of Admiral
way from Dayton Street
to a point one thou-
sand fifty feet south-
erly.
From 6 p.m. on Friday
to midnight on Sunday,
and from 6 p.m. on those
days immediately pre-
ceding public holidays
to midnight on said public
holidays for the period
from the Friday preceding
Memorial Day through the
Sunday following Labor Day."
Section 3. The Traffic Engineer is hereby author-
ized and instructed to erect signs notifying the public of
the parking restrictions imposed by this Ordinance.

Section 4. Section 8.64.045(1) of the Edmonds
City Code is hereby repealed and the word "RESERVED" in-
serted therefor; provided, however nothing herein shall be
deemed to affect any criminal or traffic proceeding com-
menced prior to the effective date of this ordinance.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect five (5) days after passage and publication by
posting as provided by law.
