AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, BY ADOPTING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION
FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY NEWLY ANNEXED, TO BE ZONED
COMMERCIAL WATERFRONT (CW) PURSUANT TO PLANNING
COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 400.

WHEREAS, pursuant to public hearing having been called
by the City Council in accordance with Planning Commission Reso-
lution No. 400, the subject property legally described below
having been recently annexed, and said City Council having
determined that the recommended zoning would be the most con-
sistent and advantageous for the development and appropriate use
of said property and for the health, safety, morals and general
welfare of the public, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map, Edmonds, Washington,
be and the same is hereby amended by applying zoning classifica-
tion of the following described property, newly annexed, to Commercial
Waterfront (CW), all situate in the City of Edmonds, County of
Snohomish, State of Washington:
That portion of Government Lot 1 in Section 26,
Township 27 North, Range 3 East, W.M., in Snohomish
County., Washington, described as follows: Beginning
at the point of intersection of the original westerly
line of the Great Northern Railway Company's right-
of-way with the north line of said Government Lot 1,
said point of intersection being 688.03 feet
westerly of the northeast corner of said Government
Lot 1 (Also known as the north quarter corner of
said Section 26) and being the True Point of
Beginning of the tract herein described; thence
South 41148.'00 West,,a distance of 54.17 feet; thence
south 48112'00" East, a distance of 150.00.feet
to an intersection with the westerly margin of
the Burlington Northern Railway Company's right-
of-way; thence North 41048100" East, along the
westerly margin of Burlington Northern Railway
Company's right-of-way, to an intersection with
the north line of said Government Lot 1; thence
westerly, along the north line of said Government
Lot 1, to the True Point of Beginning.
Section 2. The City Engineers are hereby directed
to effectuate the necessary amendments to the Official Zoning
Map of the City of Edmonds, Washington,.pursuant to this
Ordinance.
