AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL,
LOW DENSITY (RML) TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL (CG)
PURSUANT TO PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 401.
WHEREAS, pursuant to public hearing having been called
by the City Council in accordance with Planning Commission
Resolution No. 401, and said City Council having determined
that the recommended zoning would be the most consistent
and advantageous for the development and appropriate use
of said property, and for the health, safety, morals and
general welfare of the public, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section: 1. The Official Zoning Map, Edmonds, Washington,
be and the same is hereby amended by changing the zoning
classification of the following described property from Multiple
Residential, Low Density (RML) to General Commercial (CG), all
situate in the City of Edmonds, County of Snohomish, State of
Washington:
Beginning at the N.E. corner of Section 31-27-4E,
thence West 30 ft., thence south 30 ft. to the
true point of beginning, thence south on westerly
right-of-way line of 76th Ave. West 122.6 ft.,
thence west parallel to the northerly line of said
section 31-27-4E 300 ft., thence north parallel to
said easterly line 87 ft. thence northeasterly on
US99 right-of-way line a distance of 40 ft. to
north-westerly corner of this description, thence
east 285 ft. to the true point of beginning.
Except the West half.
Section 2. The City Engineers are hereby directed
to effectuate the necessary amendments to the Official Zoning
Map of Edmonds, Washington, pursuant to this Ordinance.
