AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING SECTION 8.64.010 OF THE EDMONDS CITY
CODE TO ESTABLISH ONE WAY TRAFFIC EASTBOUND ON
CASPERS STREET FROM SUNSET EASTERLY FOR 90 FEET;
ONE WAY ON SECOND AVENUE NORTHBOUND FROM 115
FEET SOUTH OF CASPERS TO CASPERS; ONE WAY NORTH-
BOUND ON SUNSET FROM EDMONDS TO CASPERS; AND
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE TRAFFIC ENGINEER
TO ERECT SUITABLE SIGNS.
WHEREAS, after study and recommendation by the Traffic
Engineer, the City Council finds that the following amendments
will be in the best interest of the public health, safety and
general welfare, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 8.64.010 of the Edmonds City Code
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"8.64.010 SCHEDULE I - ONE WAY STREETS
In accordance with Section 8.24.020 and when properly sign posted,
traffic shall move only in the direction indicated upon the fol-
lowing streets:
NAME OF STREET
DIRECTION OF
TRAFFIC MOVEMENT
1. Caspers Street from Sunset Easterly
to a point 90 feet east of
Sunset.
2. Second Avenue North from a Northerly
point 115 feet south of
Caspers to Caspers.
3. Sunset from Edmonds to Northerly
Caspers."
Section 2. The Traffic Engineer is hereby authorized

and directed to erect suitable signs notifying the public of the
restrictions imposed by this Ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect five days after passage and publication by posting as
provided by law.
