ORDINANCE NO. 2582
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHING -
TON, AMENDING SECTION 5.36.010 OF THE EDMONDS
CITY CODE TO ADOPT BY REFERENCE RCW 9A.56.220,
RCW 9A.56.230, RCW 9A.56.240, RCW 9A.56.250
AND RCW 9A.56.260 RELATING TO THE FORFEITURE,
THEFT AND UNLAWFUL SALE OF CABLE TELEVISION
SERVICES; CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND
SETTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Edmonds City Council finds that this
ordinance is in the interest of the public health, safety and
welfare, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 5.36.010 of the Edmonds Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

Section 2. If any section, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance should be held to be invalid or unconstitu-
tional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity or
unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or constitu-
tionality of any other section, sentence, clause or phrase of
this ordinance.
RAntion 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force thirty (30) days after publication of the attached
summary which is hereby approved.
