AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL STREET MAP ADOPTED BY
SECTION 12.03.080 OF THE EDMONDS CITY CODE, AS
AMENDED, BY DELETING A PORTION OF 84TH AVENUE
WEST, A FUTURE STREET, PURSUANT TO PLANNING
COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 411.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Planning Commission Resolution No.
411, the City Council of the City of Edmonds called a public
hearing regarding a proposed amendment to the official street
map removing a portion of proposed street named 84th Avenue
West between 202nd Street S.W. and 204th Street S.W., from
said official street map of the City of Edmonds, and
WHEREAS, after due consideration of existing and future
neighborhood and traffic conditions, and the general safety,
welfare and health of the public, and pursuant to the Planning
Commission recommendation, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Official Street Map adopted by Section
12.03.080 of the Edmonds City Code, as amended, is hereby
further amended by deletion of a portion of a projected public
right of way, commonly known as the East 30 feet of 84th Avenue
West between 202nd Street S.W. and 204th Street S.W., which is
identified as an amendment to the Official Street Map pursuant
to Ordinance No. 1419, and which projected right of way to be
deleted is more particularly described as follows:
The East 30 feet of 84th Avenue West, between 202nd
Street S.W. and 204th Street S.W.
Section 2. The City Engineer is hereby directed to
amend Reid Middleton and Associates' drawing No. 1.559,
Sheet 9, Section 19 of the Official Street Map of the City
of Edmonds to depict the deletion of the projected public
right of way from said street map as described in Section 1
hereinabove.
