Ordinance 1673ORDINANCE NO. 1673 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, BY ADOPTING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY NEWLY ANNEXED, TO BE ZONED SINGLE RESIDENTIAL 8,000 SQUARE FEET (RS-8) PURSUANT TO PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 413. WHEREAS, pursuant to public hearing having been called by the City Council in accordance with Planning Commission Resolution No. 413, the subject property more particularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto and hereby incorporated in full by this reference, having been recently annexed, and said City Council having determined that the recommended zoning would be the most consistent and advantageous for the development and appropriate use of said property, and for the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the public, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Official Zoning Map, Edmonds, Washington, be and the same is hereby amended by applying zoning classifi- cation of Single Residential 8,000 square feet (RS-8) to the real property newly annexed, described in Exhibit A, a copy of which is attached hereto and by this reference incorporated as if set forth in full, all of which is situate in the City of Edmonds, County of Snohomish, State of Washington. Section 2. The City Planner is hereby directed to effec- tuate the necessary amendments to the Official Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds, Washington, pursuant to this ordinance.
