AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASH-
INGTON, ADDING NEW SECTIONS 8.64.030(20)
AND (21) TO THE EDMONDS CITY CODE TO PRO-
HIBIT PARKING ON THE EAST SIDE OF RAILROAD
AVENUE FROM MAIN TO DAYTON AND ON THE WEST
SIDE OF RAILROAD STREET FROM MAIN.TO JAMES;
ADDING A NEW SECTION 8.64.065(3) TO -ESTAB-
LISH FOUR-HOUR PARKING ON THE WEST SIDE OF
RAILROAD AVENUE FROM DAYTON STREET TO MAIN
STREET; AND REPEALING SECTION 8.64.060(24).
WHEREAS, the Traffic Engineer has determined that
the following parking restriction is necessary in order to
promote traffic safety and the convenience of the public,
now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 8.65.060(24) is hereby repealed
and the word "Reserved" inserted.
Section 2. A new Section 8.64.065(3) is hereby added
to the Edmonds City Code to read as follows:
113. West side, Railroad Four hours
Avenue from Dayton maximum at
Street to Main Street any one time."
Section 3. New Sections 8.64.030(20) and 8.64.030(21)
are hereby added to the Edmonds City Code to read as follows:
11(20) East side of Railroad Avenue from
Main to Dayton
(21) West side of Railroad Street from
Main to James."
Section 4. The Traffic Engineer is authorized and
directed to erect suitable signs notifying the public of the
parking restrictions contained in this ordinance.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect five (5) days after passage and publication by
posting as provided by law.
