Ordinance 2164WDT/trs 10/2/80 ORDINANCE NO. 2164 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASH- INGTON, VACATING CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DEDICATED FOR STREET PURPOSES, AND AMENDING THE OFFICIAL STREET MAP. WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 467, the City Council of the City of Edmonds, Washington, held a public hearing to consider amending the official street map and the proposed vacation of certain property in the City of Edmonds dedicated for street purposes and located on 4th Avenue South, north of State Route 104, and WHEREAS, pursuant to the findings of the City's responsible official, the City Council finds that there will be no significant adverse environmental impacts, and WHEREAS, at the conclusion of said public hearing the Council found that the official street map should be amended and the property previously dedicated for street purposes should be vacated upon payment by the abutting owner of the appraised value of the area to be vacated, and WHEREAS, the City has obtained an appraisal of the area to be vacated and the abutting owner has tendered to the City said appraised value, and WHEREAS, the Council does hereby determine to vacate the property as hereinafter set forth, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The official street map adopted by Section 12.01.080 of the Edmonds Community Code, as amended, is hereby further amended by deleting a portion of 4th Avenue South, north of State Route 104, all as set forth on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated by this reference as if set forth in full and by amending Sheet 11, Section 26 of Engineers Drawing No. 1.559 to conform with Exhibit A. Section 2. The following parcel of property, pre- viously dedicated for street purposes is hereby vacated. Said parcel is located in the City of Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washington, and legally described as set forth on Exhibits A and B, attached hereto and incorporated by this reference as if set forth in full. Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this ordinance with the Snohomish County Auditor. The City Engineer is authorized and directed to amend the official street map to depict the revisions set forth in Section 1 above. Section 4.
