AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING SECTION 1.31.010 OF THE EDMONDS CITY
CODE CHANGING THE TITLE OF THE OFFICE OF CHIEF
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER TO THAT OF MAYOR'S
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.31.010 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"1.31.010 Appointment -- Removal. There is
created the office of Mayor's Administrative
Assistant, which office shall be filled by
appointment by the Mayor, subject to confirma-
tion by the City Council. The Mayor's
Administrative Assistant shall serve at the
pleasure of and subject to removal by the
Mayor. All references in the Edmonds City
Code to the "City Supervisor," "CAO," "MAA,"
or "Chief Administrative Officer" shall be
interpreted as meaning the "Mayor's Administra-
tive Assistant."
