AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING SECTION 12.13.050 OF THE EDMONDS CITY
CODE BY ADDING A NEW SUBSECTION RESTRICTING THE
ALLOWANCE OF PROJECTIONS IN SIDE YARD SETBACK
AREAS IN RS 6 OR RS 8 ZONES IN SAID CITY, ALL
PURSUANT TO PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 425.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds,
Washington, pursuant to Planning Commission Resolution No. 425,
called a public hearing, and having during said hearing deter-
mined it to be in the best interests and the public health,
safety and welfare to amend the Edmonds Zoning Ordinance as
set forth below, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby added to Section 12.13.050
a new subsection (j) to read as follows:
12.13.050(j) No projections, other than eaves,
shall be permitted in side yard setback areas in
RS 6 or RS 8 zones except for uncovered
structures provided for in Section 12.13.050(h)
of this Chapter.
