AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
ADOPTING A COMPREHENSIVE PARKS AND RECREATION
PLAN FOR SAID CITY AND SETTING FORTH THE LAND
DESIGNATIONS AS PROPOSED PARKS THEREIN ON FIGURE
32 OF THE COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN AND AMENDING
SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1147 OF SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, pursuant to public hearing and notice thereof
and pursuant to the recommendations of the Park Board of the
City of Edmonds, Washington, to adopt a certain Comprehensive
Parks and Recreation Plan for the City of Edmonds, Washington,
and
WHEREAS, said City Council having called said public
hearing and having held the same, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF E DMONDS, WASHINGTON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1147 of said
City and Section 12.04.095 of the Edmonds City Code are hereby
amended to read as follows:
Section 12.04.095. Adoption of Comprehensive
Parks and Recreation Plan. Pursuant to the recom-
mendation of the Park Board, the City Council of
the City of Edmonds, does hereby adopt as a part
and functional subdivision of its Comprehensive
Planning that certain compilations prepared by the
Parks and Recreation Department, three copies of
which have been, prior to the passage of this
ordinance, and are now on file for use and exam-
ination by the public at the office of the Edmonds
City Clerk, which compilation is entitled, "City
of Edmonds Comprehensive Parks and Recreation Plan,
1974 to 1980," and by this reference is hereby
adopted, together with the maps, charts and diagrams
therein contained, and incorporated herein as if
set forth in full."
Section 2. The City Engineer is hereby directed to
supplement Figure 32, the "Comprehensive Land Use Plan," in
accordance with this ordinance.
