AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING SECTION 11.08.010 OF THE EDMONDS CITY CODE
BY ADOPTING THE 1973 EDITION OF THE UNIFORM MECHANICAL
CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
The Edmonds City Code, Section 11.08.010 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"Section 11.08.010 Adoption of Uniform Mechanical Code.
That printed code, three copies of which are and have been on
file in the office of the city clerk of the City of Edmonds for
the use and examination of the public, being marked, printed
and designated as the Uniform Mechanical Code, 1973 Edition,
(specifically including appendices) copyrighted in 1973 by the
International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials
and the International Conference of Building Officials, is
hereby adopted by reference and incorporated herein as if set
forth in full, as the Uniform Mechanical Code of the City of
Edmonds, subject to the modifications and/or amendments herein-
after set forth, and the said code as adopted shall regulate
the minimum standards for the installation and maintenance of
heating, ventilating, comfort cooling and refrigeration systems,
providing for fees, specifying regulation and enforcement
including a Board of Appeals, requiring permits and inspection,
pursuant to the Laws of the State of Washington."
