ORDINANCE NO. 2615
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING ECDC 16.60.010(A) RELATING TO PERMITTED
PRIMARY USES IN THE GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONES TO
ADD A NEW PARAGRAPH (3) PERMITTING MOBILE HOMES
IN PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENTS AND FIXING
A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE
WHEREAS, after consideration the Edmonds Planning Board
has unanimously recommended in recommendation CDC-2-86 that the
Edmonds Community Development Code be amended in order to provide
for mobile homes in planned residential developments in order
that the Edmonds Community Development Code may provide for a
reasonable opportunity for the review of the utilization of
mobile homes within the City of Edmonds, and
WHEREAS, after public hearing the City Council has
determined it to be in the public interest to amend the Community
Development Code to reinsert provision regarding mobile homes as
permitted primary uses in planned residential developments, NOW,
THEREFORE,
FOLLOWS:
THE CITY COUNCIL OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS
Section 1. ECDC 16.60.010 relating to CG and CG2
zones, paragraph A Permitted primary uses, is hereby amended by
the addition of a new subparagraph (3) relating to mobile homes
to read as follows:
16.60.010 CG - General Commercial:
A. Permitted primary uses.
3. Mobile homes in planned residential
developments.
Section 2. This ordinance being an exercise of a power
specifically delegated to the City legislative body, is not
subject to referendum, and shall take effect five (5) days after
passage and publication of the attached summary which is hereby
approved.
