AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, BY CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM NEIGHBORHOOD
BUSINESS (BN) TO MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL HIGH DENSITY (RMH),
PURSUANT TO PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 447
WHEREAS, pursuant to public hearing having been called by
the City Council in accordance with Planning Commission
Resolution No. 447, and said City Council have determined that
the recommended zoning would be the most consistent and
advantageous for the development and appropriate use of said
property, and for the health, safety, morals and general
welfare of the public, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
The Official Zoning Map, Edmonds, Washington,
be and the same is hereby amended by changing the zoning classi-
fication of the real property described hereinafter from
Neighborhood Business (BN), to Multiple Residential High
Density (RMH), all of which is situate in the City of Edmonds,
County of Snohomish, State of Washington:
All that portion of Lot 19, Block 5, Alderwood Manor
Number 9, according to plat recorded in Volume 10 of
Plats, Page 6, Records of Snohomish County, Washington,
described as follows: Commencing at the most southerly
corner of said Lot 19; thence northerly along west line
of said Lot 198 ft; thence northeasterly parallel to the
southerly line of said Lot 19 a distance of 100 feet;
thence southerly parallel to the west line of said Lot
to the north boundary of Bowdoin Way; thence south-
westerly along said north boundary for 100 feet to the
point of beginning.
Section 2.
The City Planner is hereby directed to
effectuate the necessary amendments to the Official Zoning Map
of the City of Edmonds, Washington, pursuant to this Ordinance.
