Ordinance 1743ORDINANCE NO. '1743 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,. AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY BY ADDING TO SECTION 12.13.290 (C) A MINIMUM SETBACK REQUIREMENT IN ALL CG DISTRICTS IN SAID CITY PURSUANT TO PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 449. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds, Washington, pursuant to Planning Commission Resolution No. 449, called a public hearing, and having during said hearing determined it to be in the best interests and the public health, safety and wel- fare to amend the Edmonds Zoning Ordinance as set forth below, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 12.13.290 (C) is hereby amended to read as follows: "12.13.290 Bulk and Dimensional Regulations in CG Districts. (C) Minimum Setback Requirements: (1) Minimum setback requirements from any existing or proposed right-of-way line of all streets shall be twenty- five (25) feet, provided however, all properties that abut upon the existing or proposed rights -of -way for U. S. Highway 99 and/or Lake Ballinger Way shall setback forty (40) feet from either of said existing or proposed rights - of way. (2) On Lake Ballinger Way, the building or setback line for properties lying east of the Snohomish County Public Utility District No. 1, right-of-way shall be the extension of the setback line as established by setting back forty (40) feet from the highway right-of-way line immediately west of the PUD right-of-way. (3) That the minimum setback requirement for service station pump islands shall be twenty (20) feet from any right-of-way. APPROVED: ATTEST:.
