AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID
CITY, SECTION 12.12.070 (F) TERMS, TO REDEFINE
FAMILY, PURSUANT TO PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION
NO. 461.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds, Washington,
pursuant to Planning Commission Resolution No. 461, called a
public hearing, and having during said hearing determined it to
be in the best interests and the public health, safety and
welfare to amend the Edmonds Zoning Ordinance as set forth
below, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The term "family" as defined in Section
12.12.070 (F) Terms, of the Edmonds City Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"12.3_?.070 (F) Terms. Family - An individual or
two or more persons related by genetics, adoption
or marriage, or a group of not more than five
persons who are not related by genetics, adoption
or marriage and none of whom are wards of the
court unless such wards are related by genetics,
adoption or marriage to all other members of such
group living together in a dwelling unit."
