AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTION, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
20,000 SQUARE FEET (RS-20) TO.SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL, 8000 SQUARE FEET (RS-8) PURSUANT TO
PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 470.
WHEREAS, pursuant to public hearing, having been called
by the City Council in accordance with Planning Commission
Resolution No. 470, and said City Council having determined
that the recommended zoning would be the most consistent
and advantageous for the development and appropriate use
of said property, and for the health, safety, morals, and
general welfare of the public, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Official Zoning ifilap, Edmonds, Washington,
be and the same is hereby amended by changing the zoning class-
ification of the following described property from Single
Family Residential, 20,000 square feet (RS-20) to Single
Family Residential, 8,000 square feet (RS-8), all situate
in the City of Edmonds, County of Snohomish, State of Washington:
That portion of the Plat of the Annex to the I.O.O.F.
Cemetery of Edmonds, as recorded in Volume 5 of Plats,
page 34, records of Snohomish County, Washington described
as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of said
plat, said corner also being the northwest corner of
the Plat of I.O.O.F. Cemetery; thence East 290 feet;
thence North, parallel with the west line of said Annex
plat, 295:.0 feet; thence South along the west line
295.0 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Section 2. The City Planner is hereby directed to effec-
tuate the necessary amendments to the Official Zoning Map of
the City of Edmonds, Washington, pursuant to this Ordinance.
