Ordinance 1799ORDINANCE NO. 1799 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, PROHIBITING THE OPERATOR OF A VEHICLE FROM DRIVING BETWEEN OR FOLLOWING IN SUCH CLOSE PROXIMITY AS TO APPEAR TO BE A PART OF A FUNERAL OR OTHER AUTHORIZED PROCESSION AND AMENDING SECTION 8.32.010 OF THE EDMONDS CITY CODE. . ..... . .... . .. . THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 8..32.010 of the Edmonds City Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 8..32.010. Driving Through a Funeral ors Other Procession. No operator of a vehicle shall drive between or follow in such close proximity as to appear to be a part of any vehicles comprising a funeral or other authorized procession while they are in motion and when such vehicles are conspicuously designated as required in this title. This provision shall not apply at intersections where traffic is controlled by traffic control signals unless a police officer is present at such intersections to direct traffic so as to preserve the continuity of the funeral or other authorized procession." .APPROVED: MAYOR, H-.
