AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DECREASING THE SPEED LIMIT ON OLYMPIC VIEW DRIVE
FROM PUGET DRIVE TO PERRINVILLE WITHIN SAID CITY
FROM 30 M.P.H. TO 25 M.P.H. BY REMOVING SAID
STREET FROM THE TABLE CONTAINED IN SECTION
8.16.030 OF THE EDMONDS CITY CODE.
WHEREAS, the Traffic Engineer has determined, and
the City Council of the City of Edmonds, Washington so
finds that it is in the interest of the public health,
safety and general welfare to decrease the speed limit
on Olympic.View Drive from Puget Drive to Perrinville from
30 m.p.h. to 25 m.p.h., now, therefore,
THE. CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASH'INGTON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Table of Streets contained in Section
8.16..030 of the Edmonds City Code is hereby amended by
deleting therefrom the following entry:
At All Times
Name of Street Speed Limit (or during daytime)
Olympic View Drive,
Puget Drive to
Perrinville 30 m.p.h. All Times
Section 2. That the City Engineer is hereby directed to
remove, replace, modify or install such signs as are necessary
to carry out the purposes from the preceding section of this
Ordinance.
